Fall Group Exhibition: Exploring Three Unique Artistic Perspectives
Exhibition Highlights:
This fall group exhibition features three exceptionally talented artists, each presenting their distinct styles and mediums:
– Ji Youn Lee: Since 2015, Ji Youn Lee has been showcasing her work after teaching herself pastels in 2011 while raising her children. She specializes in pastels, oils, and acrylics, with a particular affinity for the warmth of pastels. Her art focuses on polar bears and endangered animals, capturing intricate details to evoke warmth and comfort. She is currently exploring a hybrid technique of oil stick and linen to create unique artistic effects.
– Manu De Mey: Inspired by the Burning Man Festival in 2017, Manu returned to sketching and painting after a 30-year hiatus. His work is characterized by melancholic figures and the exploration of repressed emotions, blending figurative art and portraiture to delve into profound themes of life.
– Marcel Witte: An award-winning Dutch painter and cartographer, Marcel Witte’s work has been exhibited internationally in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Singapore, Cuba, and Italy. His nearly life-size animal paintings offer a critique of modern society and human nature, featuring delicate details and monochromatic backgrounds that invite deep contemplation.
This exhibition promises to be a visual feast, celebrating the innovation and depth of these three remarkable artists. We warmly invite you to experience their extraordinary work.
